About The Team

John Ronk

John Ronk began his career developing wireless engineering products with Motorola after graduating with an Electrical Engineering degree from Cal Poly and a Master's from the Illinois Institute of Technology. Since leaving Motorola, John has developed products for companies such as Panasonic, McAfee, and multiple start-ups. His expertise and experience have positioned ElderGuard® as a game changer in the Home Safety and Automation industry. John believes this product will one day be a standard household item, as typical as smoke alarms and smoke detectors, and will go on to help many lives!

Evan Kelly

Evan has been interested in fire safety starting from a very young age. Starting in primary school, Evan traveled with his father to damaged apartment buildings and homes due to fires and observed his father conducting origin and cause fire investigations. From the early stages of ElderGuard, Evan has been a sounding board that ultimately resulted in the refinement of ElderGuard. Evan has both a Bachelor's and a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University and presenting works for a major aerospace contractor.

Charles Walsh

Charles Walsh has spent most of his life and career finding ways to do things others could not. He spent his earlier years working on classified electronics for Nuclear rockets. He has been a Director of Engineering at multiple firms and attended MIT for education. This education spans four disciplines: Robotics, Electrical, Mechanical, and Computer Engineering. Charles' unique problem-solving and engineering abilities allowed him to create the patented methodology for using a sensor to measure temperature and movement. This technology is integral to developing the next generation of elder care through the ElderGuard® platform.

Bob Ewell

Bob Ewell has a mechanical engineering degree from Union College and started his career working at GE in the power generation equipment service. Ultimately, the entrepreneurial bug hit him, and he decided he wanted to start his own business. Bob has successfully developed and integrated over ten patents throughout his career as an entrepreneur. He believes ElderGuard® is one of the rare products that not only has substantial income possibilities but, more importantly, improve the lives of many.

Cooking should be a source of joy, not concern.
